1922 – Naissance du fils de Hervé et Beatrice Mallet
Le 21 novembre au 10 rue du Mail à Paris la famille s’agrandit avec la naissance de Patrick MALLET.
On the 21st November at 10 Rue du Mail, Paris there was an addition to the family with the birth of Patrick MALLET.

Les artistes Beatrice Mallet depuis 1921 et Hervé MALLET depuis 1922 exposent au salon des Humoristes.
The artists BeatriceMallet, (from 1921) et Hervé Mallet, (from 1922), exhibited at the Salon des Humoristes.
A ces salons participe aussi Germaine Bouret qui a eu une vie et un parcours très proche de Beatrice.
Toutes deux sont décédées jeunes et ont dessiné le monde des enfants joyeux et plein d’humour.
Elles ont en commun les contes pour enfants, les couvertures de Jean-Pierre, les éditions Erpé et la Samaritaine pour les cartes, les pubs Petit Bateau, des menus et bien d’autres choses.

At this Salon Germaine Bouret, whose life and career followed closely that of Beatrice, was also an exhibitor.
Both of them painted a children’s world full of joy and humour and both of them died young.. They both produced work for children’s stories, front covers for Jean-Pierre, the editions of Erpé and La Samaritaine for postcards, posters for Petit Bateau, menus and many other types of work.
